Job summary

Accenture in India is seeking a Management Consulting Analyst S&C GN with deep Utilities domain knowledge, especially in Transmission & Distribution. You will advise on ADMS/OMS/SCADA solutions, lead large implementation programs, and coordinate cross‑functional teams across geographies to deliver value-driven outcomes.

The role requires hands-on experience with T&D OT systems (e.g., SCADA, DMS, OMS, GridOS) and a track record of transforming grid operations through digital, analytics and system

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge in Utilities industry with core expertise in Transmission & Distribution.
• Experience with T&D OT systems and at least one OEM platform (e.g., SCADA, DMS, OMS, GridOS).
• Experience in evaluating platforms against KPIs and strategic goals.
• Maturity assessments and gap analysis for grid operations processes.

• Experience with international Utilities clients and onshore consulting.

Job Title - Management Consulting Analyst S&C GN

Management Level : 11

Location: Gurugram/Mumbai

Must have skills:

• Deep knowledge in Utilities industry with core expertise in Transmission & Distribution


• Extensive System Exposure: Hands on experience of working with T&D OT systems especially in Alstom/GE eTerra, OSI Monarch, SE EcoStructure, GE PowerON, GE GridOS (minimum 1 OEM exp)


• Evaluation and analysis of the effectiveness of existing solutions, platforms, and tools against selected business and technology KPIs and strategic goals


• Experience of maturity assessments and gap analysis for customer impacting processes in the grid operations of Utilities industry


• Ability to assess Value Potential of a T&D transformation program and ability to architect the value proposal


• Blend of Utilities Industry and Consulting (and Technology if possible)


• Exposure to International Utilities clients (including onshore client facing consulting work experience)


• Exposure to innovation - IoT, Cyber Security, Digital, Analytics, Mobility, Distributed Energy etc.


• Process Transformation: Involves defining key performance indicators and associated work practices and collecting, managing and reporting monthly/quarterly on regional status.


• Deep Process Expertise: Transmission & Distribution, Grid Operations, Smart Grids, Analytics, Process Automation, Field Operations, System Planning, Microgrid Planning and Asset Management


• Extensive System Exposure: Hands on experience of working with T&D systems especially (deep experience with at least 3 of the following systems - SCADA, DMS, OMS, Grid Cyber Security, MDMS, AMR/AMI, DRMS, DERMS, PI and GIS)


• Sound knowledge of the regulatory intricacies with experience in driving initiatives to meet compliance requirements such as CAPEX plans, grid predictability and grid reliability is preferred


• Program Management: Involves effectively planning, managing and coordinating multiple projects in a dynamic environment with numerous and complex stakeholder groups and execute on-time and on budget


• Programme management experience and track record of successful delivery of large, complex programme


• Good knowledge and experience in Digital & System Integration projects

• To work with leading Utilities clients, major customers and suppliers to develop and execute global strategies, implement and manage automation systems to meet network expansion and modification


• To provide advisory services to clients on solution architecture, gap assessment, estimation and budgeting requirements for ADMS / OMS/ SCADA/ DMS projects


• Lead and support large ADMS/ SCADA/ OMS implementation projects in functional capacity, leveraging Utilities domain knowledge and experience in leading solutions.


• To work on data acquisition from equipment to RTUs, implementation of communication protocols, and accurate mapping of signals on SCADA/ADMS/ SCADA/ OMS in large scale implementation and upgrade projects


• Work requires travel to client site for project work across geographies

• Program management of large, complex business programmes to deliver digitally enabled solutions


• Drive Business Readiness and Deployment activities for region(s)


• Identify opportunities by farming existing relationships and growing new networks


• Draw on extensive knowledge and experience across System Integration projects to provide insightful, deal-relevant points of view and recommendations based on robust analysis

Professional & Technical Skills:

• EMS/ADMS SCADA hands‑on experience e.g. especially in Alstom/GE eTerra, OSI Monarch, SE EcoStructure, GE PowerON, GE GridOS (minimum 1 OEM exp) (Would be an advantage)


• Experience of Python, R etc. -would be an advantage


• ICS Security Certification -would be an advantage


• IBM Maximo Asset Management-would be an advantage
