Job summary

Role Description

The Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role involves meeting and advising prospective students and families, explaining admission pathways, and guiding them through direct admission and entrance exam processes. The counselor conducts consultations, responds to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, and maintains accurate records of student interactions and application status. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing student profiles, recommending suitable institutions and programs, coordinating with coaching staff, and supporting students with documentation and admission formalities. The role also includes participating in outreach activities, building relationships with schools and colleges, and contributing to enrollment targets in a professional, student-centered manner.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and general Communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and institutional partners.
• Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to provide timely, empathetic, and solution-focused support to prospective and current students.
• Candidates should possess Sales-related skills, including relationship building and consultative selling, to support enrollment goals ethically and transparently.
• Candidates should possess Education-related skills or experience, such as familiarity with admission processes, entrance exams, and academic counseling.
• Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Business, or a related field, proficiency in English and local languages, strong organizational abilities, and comfort working with basic office and CRM software.
• Prior experience in admissions counseling, educational consulting, or student support services is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates.
