Job summary

JoVE, the world-leading science video solutions provider, is seeking an Acquisition Editor to recruit new authors and content for JoVE Journal. You will guide authors through manuscript submission and collaborate with Guest Editors to develop Methods Collections (special issues).

You will maintain a network of scientists, work with the peer review team to publish manuscripts, and strive to meet monthly acquisition targets in a fast-paced environment. A Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Life Sciences is required.
• Fluent English written and verbal communication is required.
• Results-driven with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, influencing and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with the publishing process is a plus.

The Role
