Finopsindia is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager with deep IFRS expertise to lead a team of accountants and manage high‑value international client accounts.

You will be the primary contact for key clients, drive accuracy and compliance across your portfolio, and mentor the team on best practices while coordinating across multiple time zones.

The role offers exposure to consolidation under IFRS (IFRS 15, 16, 9), SOP development, and sponsorship for professional credentials.

Qualifications

• CA (ICAI) with 7–12 years post-qualification experience.
• Strong IFRS knowledge with hands-on implementation.
• Experience leading a team in outsourcing or CA firm environment.
• Excellent client management and communication skills.
• Ability to work across multiple client time zones when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 4–8 accountants and ensure delivery of high-quality financial reports
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements under IFRS for multinational clients
• Manage complex accounting issues: revenue recognition (IFRS 15), lease accounting (IFRS 16), financial instruments (IFRS 9)
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for client engagements
• Be the primary client contact — conduct monthly review calls and present financial results
• Drive continuous improvement in processes and mentor the team on best practices

What We're Looking For

• CA (ICAI) with 7–12 years of post-qualification experience
• Deep knowledge of IFRS standards with hands-on implementation experience
• Prior experience managing a team in an outsourcing or CA firm environment
• Strong ERP skills: NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle Financials
• Excellent client management and communication skills
• Ability to work across multiple client time zones when required

Good to Have

• DipIFR (ACCA) or ACCA qualification
• Experience with group consolidations across 10+ entities
• Knowledge of US GAAP alongside IFRS
