Qualifications

• Experience in US Medical Billing / AR Calling is preferred.
• Freshers with excellent English communication may be considered.
• Strong negotiation and follow-up skills required.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with insurance companies regarding outstanding claims and payments.
• Verify claim status, denials, rejections, and underpayments with payers.
• Identify and resolve claim issues to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Review EOBs/ERAs and take action on unpaid or denied claims.
• Handle AR follow-up and maintain accurate account documentation.
• Communicate with insurance representatives professionally and effectively.
• Identify denial trends and escalate unresolved issues.
• Update patient/account information in billing systems.
• Meet daily productivity, quality, and collection targets.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and billing information.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with insurance companies regarding outstanding claims and payments.
• Contact insurance payers to verify claim status, denials, rejections, and underpayments.
• Identify and resolve claim issues to ensure timely reimbursement.
• Review EOBs/ERAs and take appropriate action on unpaid or denied claims.
• Handle AR follow-up and maintain accurate account documentation.
• Communicate with insurance representatives professionally and effectively.
• Identify denial trends and escape unresolved issues when required.
• Update patient/account information accurately in billing systems.
• Meet daily productivity, quality, and collection targets.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and billing information.

Required Skills

• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Knowledge of US healthcare / medical billing / AR process.
• Strong negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic knowledge of EOB, ERA, claims, denials, CPT, and ICD-10 is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in night shifts.

Experience
