Mangalam Placement Pvt Ltd. Goa is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage day-to-day accounting, payables, receivables, taxation, and inventory accounting with strong financial controls.

You will supervise the accounting team, drive process improvements, ensure GST/TDS/VAT compliance, and coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Operations, and Stores to resolve reconciliation issues. Experience in manufacturing preferred. 6–8 years of relevant accounting experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, VAT and statutory compliance.
• Experience with Zoho Books or similar accounting software/ERP.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, financial reporting, and inventory accounting.

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and reconcile balance sheets.
• Handle GST, TDS, VAT filings and statutory compliance.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing and support audits.
• Monitor inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, and cost control.
• Assist in budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Operations, and Stores to resolve issues.
• Supervise accounting team and drive process improvements with software.

Responsible for managing day-to-day accounting, payables, receivables, taxation, inventory accounting, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and effective financial controls & team handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable, including invoice verification, payments, collections, and reconciliations.
• Monitor vendor payments, customer collections, ageing reports, credit limits, and cash flow.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Handle GST, TDS, VAT filings, and other applicable statutory compliances.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing and support internal and external audits.
• Monitor inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, production costs, wastage, and cost control.
• Assist in budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and budget-versus-actual analysis.
• Monitor product costs, gross margins, operating expenses, and profitability.
• Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Operations, and Stores to resolve accounting and reconciliation issues.
• Maintain fixed asset records and coordinate routine banking activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and approval procedures.
• Supervise the accounting team and improve processes through training and effective use of accounting software.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) preferred.
• 6–8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, VAT and statutory compliance.
• Experience with Zoho Books or similar accounting software/ERP.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, financial reporting, and inventory accounting.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
