Job summary

The Stardust Studio is seeking a highly experienced Senior Accounts Executive to independently manage the complete accounting and finance operations. The ideal candidate should excel in e-commerce accounting, taxation, compliance, and reconciliations while ensuring timely execution of all processes.

You will handle month-end and year-end closings, prepare financial reports, and coordinate with auditors and tax consultants to ensure adherence to statutory requirements and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in e-commerce.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle end-to-end accounting and financial operations.
• Manage bookkeeping, journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and account finalization.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and MIS.
• Handle GST filings, TDS deductions, returns, and other statutory compliances.
• Perform bank reconciliations, payment reconciliations, and cash flow management.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Reconcile e-commerce and marketplace transactions (Shiprocket, Amazon, Flipkart).
• Monitor inventory accounting and coordinate stock reconciliation.
• Process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and payroll-related accounting entries.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities as required.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation laws and company policies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and support management with financial analysis and decision-making.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing activities independently.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in e-commerce accounting, taxation, compliance, reconciliations, financial reporting, and vendor management while ensuring accuracy and timely execution of all accounting processes.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally, Busy, Zoho Books, or other accounting software.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Experience handling marketplace accounting and payment gateway reconciliations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage complete accounts operations with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in e-commerce and B2C business accounting.
• Knowledge of inventory and warehouse accounting.
• Experience handling audits and financial compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
