Job summary

Pasban — The Gatekeeper invites an Accounts Manager to own the books as the company builds out its first properties from the ground up. You will manage full books across entities, handle GST and statutory filings, payroll, monthly MIS, vendor payments, and cash flow reporting, partnering with the founder to design a scalable finance function in a hospitality-focused multi-location business.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in accounting and finance, with at least part of it in hospitality, F&B, or a multi-location business
• Strong hands-on Tally and Excel; comfort with Zoho Books or similar is a plus
• Someone who has closed books independently, not just supported a close
• Detail-obsessed, but able to explain numbers simply to non-finance people
• CA Inter, M.Com, or equivalent depth of practical experience

Responsibilities

• Full books across entities — general ledger, AP/AR, bank and vendor reconciliations, month-end close
• Statutory compliance: GST filings and reconciliation, TDS, advance tax, ROC coordination, and clean handoffs to auditors
• Payroll processing and employee reimbursements
• Monthly MIS and cash flow reporting the founder can actually make decisions from
• Vendor payments, purchase and expense controls across property and head office

Pasban — The Gatekeeper is the next chapter from Akhil Anand, who scaled Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels into one of India's most respected boutique hospitality brands (eighteen destinations across the country). We're at the stage where the finance function gets built properly, from the ground up, by the person who runs it.

What you'll own

• - Full books across entities — general ledger, AP/AR, bank and vendor reconciliations, month-end close
