Qualifications

Role Overview:

• We are looking for an Accounts Manager who will play a key role in strengthening our financial processes, controls, and reporting while providing strategic financial inputs to support the company''s growth and maintain its financial health The Role:
• Set up, strengthen, and manage financial controls, accounting systems, and processes to support a rapidly growing organization.
• Ensure accurate and timely visibility of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, including ageing, collections, and vendor payments.
• Own the speed and accuracy of billing, along with maintaining strong ledger hygiene for customers and vendors.
• Ensure timely reconciliation and resolution of discrepancies across customer and vendor accounts.
• Supervise and guide the finance team, ensuring clear ownership, accountability, and timely completion of deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, accounting standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Ensure timely assessment, preparation, and filing of direct and indirect tax returns, including GST and TDS returns.
• Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory authorities and represent the company before relevant authorities when required.
• Liaise with Government Departments and Regulatory Authorities, including tax authorities, for approvals, clarifications, sanctions, and statutory compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, automation, controls, and reporting as the organization scales.
• Work closely with business and operations teams to ensure financial discipline and accurate accounting across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance; experience in the logistics, supply chain, or cold chain industry will be an advantage.
• Prior experience working in a start-up or high-growth organization is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, GST, TDS, taxation, reconciliations, and financial controls.
• Exceptional team management and coordination skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to delegate, follow up, and ensure timely execution through the team.
