Job summary

Sipani Properties is seeking an Accounts Manager to lead day-to-day accounting, GST/TDS compliance, and financial reporting in Bengaluru. The role requires strong technical skills, leadership, and familiarity with real estate finance.

The candidate will oversee month-end closings, cash flow monitoring, and coordination with auditors and tax consultants to ensure statutory compliance and optimal financial operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries and ledger maintenance.
• Ensure timely GST return filings and compliance with GST regulations.
• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, and return filings.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities with accuracy and timelines.
• Monitor cash flow, payables, receivables, and financial transactions.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulators on accounting matters.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and statutory requirements.
• Identify process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency.
• Supervise the accounts team to ensure smooth operations.

Job Position - Accounts Manager

Experience Level- 6 to 10 years

Note: Only Male Candidates are preferred for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and account finalization.
• Ensure timely preparation and filing of GST returns and maintain compliance with all applicable GST regulations.
• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, return filings, and statutory compliance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
• Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial transactions.
• Coordinate with internal departments, auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities for accounting and compliance matters.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices to enhance accounting efficiency.
• Supervise and guide the accounts team to ensure smooth financial operations.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in the real estate industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, financial accounting, and statutory compliance is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
