Job summary

Sonata Rubber is seeking an accountable junior accountant to manage day-to-day entries in Tally ERP and record purchase and sales transactions. The role involves assisting in financial statements, debtors/creditors follow-ups, and vendor payments, with weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.

Ideal candidate has 1–2 years accounting experience, proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel/Word, and basic GST/TDS knowledge. Import/export documentation support and IT return filing may be part of duties.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in accounting.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel/Word.
• Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and bank reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally ERP.
• Record purchase and sales transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Maintain petty cash book and vouchers.
• Handle bank reconciliation on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Help in recording TDS & TCS entries and ensuring timely filing.
• Coordinate with senior accountants and CA for IT return filings.
• Maintain records of debtors and creditors and assist in follow-ups.
• Prepare and verify invoice details for payments and collections.
• Handle vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
• Assist in preparing import/export documentation.
• Maintain bank-related documents and transaction details.
