PeopleStrong in India seeks an experienced finance professional to supervise the creditors and liabilities function within construction projects. You will lead the accounting team, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate records to protect the company’s credibility.

To supervise accounting team members’ daily deliverables in order to maintain
? Provide active supervision and technical support for assisting accounting personnel.
? To establish, monitor and maintain accurate accounting records in order to
protect the company’s credibility at all times.
? To plan, monitor and control timely payments in accordance with creditors’
payment terms in order to ensure the project progresses without payment
related disruptions.
? To monitor and control the month-end cost closing in order to ensure that all
costs are captured within the specified time frame.
? To maintain relevant data and spreadsheets required for generation of monthly
progress reports in order to meet reporting deadlines.
? To maintain and administer accurate records of company-supplied items
including petty cash, cars, phones, etc. in order to protect the company and staff
liabilities.
? To monitor collection for invoices raised to the client.
Minimum Qualifications: Minimum years of experience
B.Com
Preferably – with post-graduation
Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction
industry preferred.
Experience in managing an accounting team.
Experience in preparing, controlling and
maintaining accurate cost control measures.
