Job summary

Elitecon International is seeking an experienced Accountant GST & Accounts in Delhi to manage day-to-day accounting and ensure timely GST compliance. The role requires hands-on GST return filing, Tally Prime expertise, and accurate ledger maintenance.

The ideal candidate should have 5-6 years of experience, be able to independently post daily entries in Tally Prime, and possess strong knowledge of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, ITC and Excel. Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of relevant experience in Accounts & GST required.
• Hands-on GST return filing experience is mandatory.
• Strong hands-on experience in Tally Prime is mandatory.
• Independently able to make day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Pass and maintain accounting entries in Tally Prime.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B) independently.
• Perform GST reconciliation with books and GSTR-2B.
• Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.
• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Coordinate with auditors/consultants for GST-related requirements.

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant GST & Accounts to manage day-to-day accounting activities and ensure timely and accurate GST compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in GST return preparation and filing, reconciliations, and general accounting.

Role & responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Pass and maintain accounting entries in Tally Prime, including sales, purchase, receipt, payment, journal and contra entries.
• Maintain accurate ledgers and accounting records in Tally Prime.
• Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B independently.
• Perform GST reconciliation with books and GSTR-2B.
• Verify GST invoices, input tax credit and applicable GST treatment.
• Handle purchase and sales entries and related documentation.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer and ledger reconciliations.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Coordinate with auditors/consultants for accounting and GST-related requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5-6 years of relevant experience in Accounts & GST.
• Hands-on GST return filing experience is mandatory.
• Strong hands-on experience in Tally Prime is mandatory.
• Must be capable of independently making day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime.
• Good knowledge of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GST reconciliation and ITC.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.
• FMCG/manufacturing/trading industry experience will be an added advantage.
