Job summary

B L CHAJED AND CO, a Bengaluru tax practice, seeks an accountant to manage accounts, GST, TDS and Income Tax for 500+ clients. You will work with Tally Prime and our in-house automation tools to reduce typing and increase accuracy, while taking ownership of client compliance.

Responsibilities include daily bookkeeping, GST/tax filings, bank reconciliations, and client communication in Hindi. The role is in-office in Gandhi Nagar, Bengaluru, with a performance-based review after six months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a CA/tax practitioner firm or similar accounts role handling multiple clients.
• Hands-on Tally Prime and GST return filing.
• TDS basics and Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot, filters).
• Fluent Hindi; working English.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day accounting in Tally Prime for a portfolio of clients: purchases, sales, bank and journal entries, bill-wise details.
• GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B preparation and filing; GSTR-2B reconciliation and supplier follow-up.
• TDS calculation, deposit and quarterly returns.
• Bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny and finalization support.
• Work on in-house browser tools (imports, reconciliations, reports) and verify outputs before filing.
• Speak with clients on call and WhatsApp, mostly in Hindi.

We are a Bengaluru tax practice (Advocates & Tax Practitioners) handling accounts, GST, TDS and Income Tax for 500+ businesses. We work in Tally Prime and our own in-house automation tools, so you spend less time typing and more time checking. We want people who are accurate, quick and take ownership of their clients' compliance.

Role & responsibilities:

• Day-to-day accounting in Tally Prime for a portfolio of clients: purchase, sales, bank and journal entries, bill-wise details
• GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B preparation and filing; GSTR-2B reconciliation and supplier follow-up
• TDS calculation, deposit and quarterly returns

Preferred candidate profile:

• Minimum 2 years in a CA / tax practitioner firm or a similar accounts role, handling multiple clients

• Fluent Hindi is mandatory; working English

Salary & benefits:

• Rs 18,000 to 20,000 per month (fixed) for the first 6 months, based on experience and test performance
• Salary review after 6 months
• After 6 months: full-attendance bonus, Diwali bonus and casual leaves
