Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B).
• Perform bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny and account reconciliation.
• Handle GST invoicing, ITC reconciliation and GST portal work.
• Assist with TDS calculations, payments and return filing.
• Prepare accounting records, Excel reports and financial statements.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned accounting and statutory work.

Role & Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments and journal entries.
• Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
• Perform bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny and account reconciliation.
• Handle GST invoicing, ITC reconciliation and GST portal-related work.
• Assist with TDS calculations, payments, return filing and other tax compliance.
• Prepare and maintain accounting records, Excel reports and financial statements.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned accounting and statutory compliance work.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting and taxation.
• Practical working knowledge of Tally Prime, GST and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, GST returns, TDS and bank reconciliation.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and maintain accurate records.
• Good communication skills and a responsible, detail-oriented approach.
• Experience working in a CA office or accounting and taxation consultancy will be preferred.
