Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on accounting experience in e-commerce, D2C, FMCG, or distribution.
• B.Com or M.Com, or CA Inter or CMA Inter.
• Day-to-day use of Zoho Books, Tally Prime, or similar accounting software: bank mapping, bill booking, and journal entries.
• GST practices: e-way bills, GSTR-2B vs books, RCM, inter-state transfers across more than one GSTIN.
• TDS and TCS practices: vendor bill deductions, Form 26AS, AIS, certificates, and reconciliations.
• Experience closing reconciliations to deadlines, especially marketplace, courier or COD, and payment-gateway settlements.
• Strong Excel skills: lookups and pivot tables.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable working independently in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch documentation and sales invoicing: generate e-way bills, prepare delivery challans, raise sales invoices against POs.
• Book vendor invoices in Zoho Books with correct GST, TDS, and expense heads; reconcile bank statements; pass journal, RCM, and reimbursement entries.
• Perform reconciliations for delivery partners and sales across channels; compare GSTR-2B vs books and RCM (first draft).
• Handle compliance tasks: download Form 26AS and AIS, process TDS certificates, and maintain GST and TDS compliances calendar.
• Collaborate with supply chain, warehouse, and sales teams to resolve mismatches and track open reconciliations.

Earthful is a clean-label, plant-based nutrition brand for women's health, backed by Fireside Ventures and V3 Ventures, and recently featured on Shark Tank India. We sell through our own website, marketplaces, quick-commerce platforms, and B2B customers. Every one of those sales has to be invoiced, dispatched with the right paperwork, and reconciled to the rupee. This role makes that happen.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on accounts role in a multi-channel D2C business. You will raise invoices and dispatch documents, book vendor bills, keep the books current across three bank accounts and multiple GSTINs, and close the reconciliations that matter: delivery partners, sales channels, GST, vendors, and credit cards. You will also support GST and TDS compliance and audits. You will prepare first drafts of reconciliations and GST workings, which the Finance Head and senior accountants review, and you will flag mismatches rather than patch them quietly.

What You'll Own

Dispatch Documentation & Sales Invoicing

• Generate e-way bills for all dispatches and inter-state stock transfers
• Prepare delivery challans for stock transfers and non-sale movements
• Raise sales invoices against POs for B2B customers, marketplaces, and quick-commerce channels
• Check every PO before invoicing: SKU, quantity, rate, GSTIN, and ship-to

Vendor Bill Booking & Bookkeeping

• Book vendor invoices in Zoho Books with the correct GST, TDS, and expense heads
• Reconcile the bank statements in Zoho Books
• Pass journal entries, RCM entries, and reimbursement entries
• Record inter-branch entries between the company's GSTINs

Reconciliations

• Delivery partner reconciliations: Prozo, Proship, and Swift
• Sales reconciliation for all channels: pull the data and prepare the first reconciliation
• GSTR-2B vs books and RCM reconciliation (first draft)
• Credit card statements vs books

Compliance Support

• Download Form 26AS and AIS and the TDS/TCS certificates, and send Form 16A to vendors
• Close GST and TDS compliances on time
• Keep the compliance calendar up to date
• Pull documents and schedules for audits

Filing

Maintenance of the invoices and relevant documentation.

Working With Other Teams

• Work with the supply chain and warehouse teams on dispatch data, and with the sales team on PO details
• Raise mismatches in price, GSTIN, quantity, or remittance with the right owner and track them to closure
• Share the status of open reconciliations and unreconciled items with the Finance Head every week

What We're Looking For

• 1–3 years of hands-on accounting in a company's accounts team, ideally in e-commerce, D2C, FMCG, or distribution. This is not a fresher or trainee role.
• B.Com or M.Com, or CA Inter or CMA Inter.
