Job summary

Freudenberg Group in Pune, India seeks a seasoned Finance professional to manage accounts receivable, credit control and general ledger activities. You will support month-end close, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with other departments on budgeting and financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Commerce, Accounting or Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred).
• 5+ years in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control/Finance with ERP experience in an MNC.
• Proven 5+ years experience with SAP FI-AR is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including accounts payable and/or receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets. Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial records. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary journal entries and account reconciliations. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. Assist in the preparation of tax filings and other regulatory reports. Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial records and transactions. Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support. Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and support financial planning activities. Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred).
• 5+ years of professional experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control / Finance and Accounting, including at least 5 years of hands-on experience with ERP system in MNC
• Proven experience of 5+ years in SAP (FI-AR) is mandatory.
