Job summary

Freudenberg in Pune, Maharashtra, is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to manage accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and general ledger tasks. You will assist with financial statements, budgets, and month-end close, ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate reporting.

Candidate should have 5+ years in Finance with SAP FI-AR proficiency, and a degree in Commerce/Accounting. This role offers growth within a global technology group and exposure to diverse accounting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred).
• 5+ years of professional experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit Control / Finance and Accounting, including at least 5 years of hands‑on experience with ERP system in MNC.
• Proven experience of 5+ years in SAP (FI-AR) is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions (AP/AR, payroll, GL).
• Assist in preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Support month-end/year-end closing with journal entries and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including accounts payable and/or receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Assist in the preparation of tax filings and other regulatory reports.
• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial records and transactions.
• Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and support financial planning activities.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems.
