Job summary

Mellora Infrastructure in Mumbai seeks an Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting, GST/TDS compliance, and monthly closings in Nariman Point.

The ideal candidate has a B.Com and 3–8 years of Finance & Accounts experience, with hands-on Tally/ERP and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Good working knowledge of GST and TDS compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Tally and ERP accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Candidates based in Mumbai or able to commute to Nariman Point, Mumbai.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, bank reconciliation and vendor/customer account reconciliation.
• Manage GST compliance, including GST data preparation, return coordination and reconciliation, along with TDS calculations and timely payments.
• Process vendor invoices, verify documents, track payments and assist in monthly closing activities.
• Work on Tally and ERP systems for accounting transactions, financial records and MIS reports.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and support audits and compliance requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, bank reconciliation and vendor/customer account reconciliation.
• Manage GST compliance, including preparation of GST data, return coordination and reconciliation, along with TDS calculations, deductions and timely payments.
• Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documents, track payments and assist in monthly closing activities.
• Work on Tally and ERP systems for accounting transactions, financial records and preparation of MIS reports.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and support statutory audits, internal audits and other compliance requirements.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Graduate in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification, with 3–8 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Good working knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting principles, bank reconciliation and statutory compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Tally and ERP accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate financial records within deadlines.
• Candidates currently based in Mumbai or able to commute to Nariman Point, Mumbai, with good communication and coordination skills
