Job summary

Ashish Life Science is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to handle day-to-day accounting operations, general ledger activities, and period-end processes in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong knowledge of GST and TDS, bank reconciliations, and proficiency in Excel. You will support audits and monthly closures while maintaining accurate financial records and collaborating with the team.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards.
• Experience in managing inventory and depreciation.
• Knowledge of TDS and GST returns and filing procedures.
• Familiarity with accounting software and systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Preference given to candidates with manufacturing industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and general ledger activities.
• Prepare provisions, accruals and period-end entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconciliations of accounts payable.
• Ensure accurate bookkeeping and maintain financial records.
• Support in audit activities and monthly closures.
• Knowledge of basic direct and indirect taxation.
• Maintain Excel-based trackers, schedules and audit documentation.
• Assist in other accounting tasks as required.

General Accounting and Taxation

• 1) Manage day-to-day accounting operations and general ledger activities.
• 2) Provisions, accruals & period-end accounting entries
• 3) Knowledge of Bank Reconciliation
• 4) Ledger Reconciliation Accounts Payable
• 5) Ensure accurate bookkeeping and maintain financial records.
• 6) Support in Audit Activities and Monthly Closure Activities
• 7) Knowledge of Basic Direct Taxation and Indirect Taxation
• 8) Excel-based trackers, schedules & audit documentation
