Job summary

DailyRounds is seeking an Accounts Executive in Bengaluru to manage payment schedules, vendor onboarding, and routine accounting entries. You will ensure timely settlements, maintain compliance with TDS and GST, and support month-end closings with accuracy.

The role emphasizes process improvement, automation using AI tools, and cross-team collaboration with the Accounts department. Freshers with the right spark are welcome alongside 1–3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• B.Com or equivalent. 1–3 years of experience preferred, freshers with spark welcome.
• Solid grasp of accounting principles and processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and curiosity about AI tools and automation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical work.
• Excellent communication and cross-team coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of payment support schedules and NHPL & subsidiaries payment proposals.
• Prepare first drafts of FD interest, consultant, and provision workings.
• Own vendor bill accounting and routine accounting entries end-to-end.
• Be the go-to person for vendor onboarding, documentation, and approvals.
• Keep vendor advances on track and drive timely settlements.
• Review books diligently and champion the payment process protocol.
• Apply knowledge of TDS deduction and GST and other compliance payments.
• Cross-check GL balances before payment schedules go out.
• Contribute to month-end closing, reconciliations, and daily finance operations.

Why do we exist?

Doctors need to constantly learn and keep themselves updated about the latest practices in their field. Case-based learning (clinical cases) is considered to be the best way to go about doing that. The traditional methods for case discussions are medical conferences and medical journals, but the cost and time doctors need to spend on these, often make it difficult. Also, on average, a medical doctor takes 30 key decisions per day which range from what drug to prescribe, when to do a surgery, what device to use, to when to discharge a patient.

Who are we?

DailyRounds is a healthcare startup focused on organizing “Knowledge of practice of Medicine” and building a community of Doctors (and healthcare professionals). We hold the largest IP (intellectual property) in clinical medicine in India. We hope to put this IP, network, and our best efforts to help Doctors improve how they diagnose and treat. We are a diverse team of 300 people based in Bangalore.

What would you be doing here?

• Take charge of payment support schedules and NHPL & subsidiaries payment proposals
• Prepare first drafts of FD interest, consultant, and provision workings

• Be the go-to person for vendor onboarding, documentation, and approvals

• Put your knowledge of TDS deduction and statutory payments (TDS, GST, and other compliance payments) to work
• Cross-check GL balances like a pro before payment schedules go out
• Play a key role in month-end closing, reconciliations, and everyday finance operations
• Bring fresh ideas to the table — spot opportunities to automate finance processes using AI and digital tools

The Best-fit Candidate Would Have:

• B.Com or equivalent, or any specialisation in finance
• 1–3 years of experience — and yes, freshers with the right spark are welcome too!
• A solid grip on accounting principles
• Excel skills that go beyond the basics; bonus points if you're curious about AI tools and finance automation
• An eye for detail that catches what others miss
• Great communication skills and a natural ability to coordinate across teams
