Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an Accounts Assistant for our Bangalore team. The role focuses on invoice processing, vendor/customer reconciliations, and ERP journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.

You will prepare balance sheet schedules and support ad hoc reporting while collaborating with a dynamic finance team. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in accounting, strong Excel abilities, and a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Commerce graduate or CA IPCC or equivalent qualification.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably R2R.
• Proficiency in posting purchase and sales invoices and journal entries in ERP.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Experience in vendor/customer SOA reconciliation and ensuring data accuracy.
• Strong analytical, time-management and communication skills.
• Team-oriented with good organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Verify and process invoices in compliance with policies.
• Raise sales invoices for customers and intercompany transactions.
• Perform vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Post journal entries and maintain ERP accuracy.
• Prepare balance sheet schedules and reconcile SOA.

What You'll be doing:

• Invoice Management: Verify and process invoices in compliance with company policies and procedures. Raise sales invoices for customers and intercompany transactions.
• Reconciliation: Perform vendor reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly. Reconcile expenses to ensure accurate regional recharges and address variances proactively to avoid rejections.
• ERP and Journal Entries: Post journal entries and maintain accuracy in the ERP system. Prepare balance sheet schedules and reconcile vendor/customer SOA (Statement of Account).
• Reporting Support: Assist accountants with ad hoc reporting and tasks as required.
• Other Duties: Take on additional responsibilities aligned with company needs to support the team effectively.

What We're Looking For:

• Qualification: Commerce graduate/CA IPCC/any other relevant qualification
• Work Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting (preferably R2R).
• Skills: ERP Expertise: Proficiency in posting purchase and sales invoices and managing journal entries. Excel Wizardry: Advanced skills in VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and more. Reconciliation Pro: Experience in vendor/customer SOA reconciliation and financial data accuracy. Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, problem-solving, time management, and excellent verbal & written communication.
• Team Player: Strong organizational skills and a collaborative attitude to work seamlessly within a team.
