Job summary

Paytm is hiring an Accounting - Team Lead in Uttar Pradesh. You will oversee revenue recognition, internal controls, and audit support, guiding the accounting team to deliver timely, accurate financial data for management and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in transaction-level accounting, strong MS Excel skills, and experience with SAP ERP. Semi-qualified CA preferred, with ability to coordinate cross-functional finance efforts and ensure SOP adherence.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in the transaction-level accounting domain.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel.
• Should have worked in SAP ERP.
• Experience in various internal and external audit closure
• Good interpersonal communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting related to revenue assurance and related reconciliations (GL, bank, system).
• Support revenue and expense automation initiatives and provide daily revenue summaries.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs for revenue recognition, expenses validation, debtors MIS reporting and collections.
• Assist during audits and month-end reporting within set timelines.

Expectations/ Requirements:

• 1.Should be well versed in handling the day to day accounting related to revenue assurance. Should have good knowledge of various reconciliation methods, GL recons, bank recons, system recons etc.
• 2. Must posses excellent MS-excel skills and help in automation of revenue and expenses related items.
• 3. Analyze trends and provide management with a daily summary of the revenue preparation.
• 4. Adherence to the SOP on multiple matters such as revenue recognition, expenses validation, debtors MIS reporting and collection.
• 5. Excellent stakeholder management skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
• 6. Provide support during various audits and month end reporting within given timeliness.
