Job summary

PayGlocal is seeking an Accounts executive to strengthen the finance backbone of a fast-growing cross-border payments business. You will manage multi-entity accounting across India, US, and UAE, support regulatory compliance, and enable accurate financial reporting in a dynamic fintech environment.

This role targets a Semi-qualified CA with 2-3 years of experience, who is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to gain exposure to global accounting practices, fintech operations, and scalable

Qualifications

• Semi Qualified CA with 2-3 years of experience (excluding articleship).
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial statements, and reconciliation processes.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with ERP/accounting tools such as Zoho, Tally.

Responsibilities

• Multi-Entity Accounting: Prepare and finalize books across India, US, UAE, and other entities.
• Financial Closures: Support month-end and year-end closing activities, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Inter-Company Transactions: Manage inter-company accounting, reconciliations, and cross-border charge validations.
• Regulatory & Audit Compliance: Support statutory audits, tax audits, RBI/FEMA/GST compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Cross-Border & FX Accounting: Handle cross-border payments, FX accounting, and revenue reconciliations.
• MIS & Reporting: Prepare MIS reports, variance analyses, dashboards, and leadership reporting.
• Treasury Coordination: Assist in fund flow tracking, banking coordination, and liquidity monitoring.
• Process Improvement: Support finance automation initiatives and ERP implementations; document SOPs.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and internal business teams.

Position Summary

As a Accounts executive, you will play a critical role in strengthening the finance backbone of a fast-growing cross-border payments business. You will be responsible for managing multi-entity accounting, supporting cross-border transaction flows, ensuring regulatory compliance across jurisdictions (India, US, UAE), and enabling accurate financial reporting.

This role is ideal for a Semi qualified CA (2-3 years experience) who is detail-oriented, analytically strong, and eager to gain exposure to global accounting practices, fintech operations, and scalable financial processes in a high-growth environment.

What will you work on?

• Multi-Entity Accounting: Assist in preparation and finalization of books of accounts across multiple entities and jurisdictions (India, US, UAE, etc.).
• Financial Closures: Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
• Inter-Company Transactions: Manage inter-company accounting, reconciliations, and cross-border charge validations.
• Regulatory & Audit Compliance: Support statutory audits, tax audits, RBI/FEMA/GST compliance, and financial regulatory requirements.
• Cross-Border & FX Accounting: Work on cross-border payment flows, foreign exchange accounting, and revenue reconciliations.
• MIS & Reporting: Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, financial dashboards, and performance tracking reports for leadership.
• Treasury Coordination: Assist in fund flow tracking, banking coordination, and liquidity monitoring.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to finance automation initiatives, ERP implementation support, and SOP documentation.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with auditors, consultants, tax advisors, and internal business teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualification: Semi Qualified CA.
• Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience (excluding articleship experience).
• Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting standards, financial statements, and reconciliation processes.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with ERP/accounting tools such as Zoho, Tally, etc.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to coordinate across teams and external stakeholders.
• Work Environment Fit: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced fintech/startup environment with high ownership and accountability.
