Job summary

Caldic APAC in Mumbai is seeking a Finance Executive with 4+ years of experience in direct and indirect taxation to manage GST, TDS, and income tax compliance.

You will prepare returns, assist with assessments, audits, ITC reconciliation, and data-driven reporting using ERP and Excel, while collaborating with teams to ensure accuracy and timely filings. This onsite role offers growth in a global distribution leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in direct and indirect taxation.
• Experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns and issue TDS certificates.
• Prepare details for tax assessments and handle tax audits/queries.
• Reconcile Form 26AS and manage GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9).
• Reconcile ITC with GSTR-2A/2B and support advance tax computations.

About The Role

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com)
• Minimum experience of 5-6 years in Direct and Indirect Taxation with knowledge of Income Tax, TDS and GST regulations
• Preparation and filing of quarterly TDS returns and issuance of TDS certificates
• Preparation of details for tax assessments
• Handling tax audits, departmental queries and tax notices
• Reconciliation of Form 26AS
• Preparation & filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9)
• Reconciliation of input tax credit (ITC) with GSTR-2A/2B
• Knowledge of advance tax.
