The Accounting Manager will be responsible for accounting documentation over a variety of areas and support external reporting requirements. This role will entail overseeing the monthly/quarterly close process and ensuring accurate and timely deliverables are prepared. In addition, the role will have the opportunity to research technical accounting guidance and prepare technical memos. In addition, the candidate will develop strong working relationships with cross-functional partners and various levels of management.

The opportunity

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for accounting documentation over a variety of areas and support external reporting requirements. This role will entail overseeing the monthly/quarterly close process and ensuring accurate and timely deliverables are prepared. In addition, the role will have the opportunity to research technical accounting guidance and prepare technical memos. In addition, the candidate will develop strong working relationships with cross-functional partners and various levels of management. This position requires working during late evening hours from 2 PM to 11 PM (IST), with a 1-hour lunch break included. Are you available to work during these Non-Shift hours?

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage Ledger Close Process: Oversee the accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger close process, including the review of journal entries, reconciliations, and close deliverables.
• Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly reporting flux analysis and review deliverables supporting consolidated financial statements and footnotes. Research and analyze complex accounting issues, providing recommendations to management for proper accounting treatment and potential financial statement impact.
• Process Improvements: Develop and implement process improvements, lead automation initiatives, and maintain standard operating procedures.
• Audit Support: Support both external and internal audit requirements related to areas of responsibility.
• Leadership Support and Customer Service: Lead special projects and provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis for leadership. Deliver best-in-class customer service to internal stakeholders.

• Project management skills, ability to prioritize, and experience driving process improvements. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work in time-sensitive situations.

Base Salary Range: ₹2,408,600 - ₹3,613,000 INR gross

This range reflects the anticipated base salary for this position. Beyond base salary, this role may be eligible for equity awards and participation in our company incentive plans (such as annual discretionary bonuses or sales commissions). The final offer amount will depend on several factors, including geographic location and the candidate’s relevant experience, professional background, and skill set.
