Accountabilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including reviewing vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, supporting documentation, approvals, and accurate transaction recording in Tally.
  • Support accounts receivable activities by recording customer receipts, preparing tax invoices, reconciling outstanding balances, and resolving payment discrepancies.
  • Perform daily banking activities, including bank reconciliations, payment processing, vendor payments, payroll support, and other treasury-related transactions.
  • Maintain accurate general ledger records, accounting entries, financial documentation, and month-end reconciliations in accordance with established policies and controls.
  • Support statutory accounting and tax compliance activities, including GST, TDS, annual returns, audits, and related documentation.
  • Administer petty cash and expense reporting while ensuring appropriate supporting documentation and financial controls are maintained.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Business Development, vendors, banks, customers, and other stakeholders to resolve accounting queries and ensure timely financial processing.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies across accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, and other financial records.

  • Support the implementation and adoption of AI-enabled tools, workflow automation, and other technology solutions designed to improve financial accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that reduce manual effort, strengthen financial controls, and improve the overall quality of accounting operations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate finance or accounting environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Practical experience supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, reconciliations, and statutory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial transaction processing.
  • Working knowledge of GST and TDS regulations and related compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with Tally and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and other financial or accounting technologies.
  • Hands-on experience using AI-enabled tools, automation, workflow solutions, or other technologies to improve accounting and finance processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process inefficiencies and support improvements that reduce manual work, increase accuracy, or improve operational efficiency.
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and interpret financial information accurately.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy, data integrity, and reliable financial records.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with Finance teams, vendors, customers, banks, and other stakeholders.
  • A proactive, technology-forward mindset and genuine interest in continuous improvement and process automation.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed team.
  • Professional proficiency in English and Hindi.
