Job summary

Weekday AI (YC W21) is seeking an detail-oriented Accountant for its client in Saligao, Goa. The role involves managing daily accounting, reconciliations, GST/TDS compliance, and financial reporting within a hospitality-oriented environment.

Candidate should have 1+ year of experience in accounting and proficiency in Tally Prime, GST, TDS, and Excel. Exposure to hotels, restaurants, or cafes is preferred; 6-day weeks with 10:00 AM–7:00 PM shift.

Qualifications

• B.Com or M.Com degree required.
• 1+ year of accounting experience required.
• Hospitality industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally Prime or similar software.
• Handle bank, cash, POS, UPI, and payment gateway reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and petty cash.
• Assist with GST returns, TDS compliance, and payroll accounting.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, expense statements, and financial summaries.
• Support monthly closing and finalisation of accounts.
• Coordinate with CAs, auditors, and tax consultants.
• Ensure accurate financial records and timely reporting.

Working Hours: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 6 days a week

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting, reconciliations, GST/TDS compliance, and financial reporting. Candidates with experience in hotels, restaurants, cafés, or the hospitality industry are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally Prime or similar software.

Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés, Hospitality, or Legal Services Languages: English and Hindi; Konkani is an added advantage.
