Job summary

Systems Plus Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an Accountant (AR) to handle accounts receivable tasks and support month-end closing from our Pune office. The role emphasizes accurate posting, reconciliations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of US GAAP, strong Excel skills, and professional communication abilities to support multiple stakeholders including Community Managers and Client Accounting Specialists.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general ledger accounting.
• Experience in an Accounting Shared Services Center environment.
• Experience with bank reconciliation.
• Ability to evaluate, analyze, and prioritize data.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and US GAAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile missing payments and ensure accurate posting of monies.
• Support year-end close activities.
• Assist Community Managers and Client Accounting Specialist.
• Coordinate with A/R, A/P, Data, Tax and Investment teams for issue resolution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Research and reconcile missing payments
• Ensure monies are posted correctly
• Supporting Year End close
• Supporting Community Managers and Client Accounting Specialist
• Working with supporting departments (A/R, A/P, Data, Tax and Investment Teams) on issue resolution
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:
