Job summary

Ashutosh Ramdas Yeole seeks an experienced accountant to manage day-to-day financial records, ledgers, and statutory compliance. You will handle purchases, sales, expenses, and journal entries while using Tally ERP and Excel to keep accurate accounts for bank, supplier, customer, and contractor ledgers.

Qualifications include a commerce degree (B.Com/M.Com) and extensive accounting experience, with familiarity in GST, TDS, and other statutory obligations.

Qualifications

• Graduate in commerce with a professional accounting background.
• Experience in civil contractor or construction sector preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel; GST and TDS expertise.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting and financial records for the company.

• Prepare and maintain bank, cash, supplier, customer and contractor accounts.

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting and financial records of the company.
• Record purchase, sales, expenses, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Handle Tally/ERP accounting software and maintain proper ledgers.
• Prepare and maintain bank, cash, supplier, customer, and contractor accounts.
• Assist in GST, TDS, PF, ESIC and other statutory compliance.
• Prepare GST workings, TDS workings, and reconciliation of accounting data with returns.
• Perform bank reconciliation, ledger reconciliation, and vendor/customer reconciliation.
• Maintain records of bills, invoices, payment vouchers, purchase bills, and other supporting documents.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate in B.Com/M.Com or equivalent qualification.
• 15 years of experience in accounting, preferably with a civil contractor, construction company, or infrastructure company.
• Good knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel, GST and TDS.
• Experience in handling contractor accounts, purchase bills, expenses, and project-related accounting will be preferred.
• Knowledge of PF, ESIC and other statutory compliances will be an added advantage.
