Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, purchase bills, credit notes, debit notes, and other financial documents.
• Handle GST compliance, including GST returns, input tax credit reconciliation, and e-invoicing, wherever applicable.
• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and return filings.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations on a regular basis.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, profit and loss accounts, and balance sheets.
• Monitor outstanding payments from customers and follow up on overdue receivables.
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock-related financial records in coordination with the stores and sales teams.
• Ensure proper documentation and accounting of stock purchases, sales, returns, and adjustments.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions as required.
• Assist in budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records for audits and future reference.
