Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting transactions, records, and ledgers.
• Handle AP/AR, vendor payments, customer collections, and follow-ups.
• Prepare, verify, and maintain invoices, payments, vouchers, and receipts.
• Record transactions and generate accounting reports using Tally and Excel.
• Perform GST-related activities: data prep, verification, reconciliation, returns filing.
• Assist in TDS calculations, deductions, payments, and records.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to match books with statements.
• Monitor cash transactions and maintain petty cash records.
• Maintain accounts for purchases, sales, expenses, and inventory with supporting documents.
• Prepare general ledgers, journal entries, and trial balances as required.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily accounting transactions, financial records, and ledger entries accurately and systematically.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including vendor payments, customer collections, outstanding balances, and follow-ups.
• Prepare, verify, and maintain invoices, bills, payment vouchers, receipts, debit notes, credit notes, and other financial documents.
• Work with Tally, MS Excel, and other accounting software to record transactions, update financial data, and generate accounting reports.
• Manage GST-related activities, including data preparation, invoice verification, reconciliation, and coordination for timely filing of returns.
• Assist in TDS calculations, deductions, payments, return preparation, and maintaining relevant statutory records.
• Perform regular bank reconciliation to ensure that bank statements match the company's books of accounts.
• Monitor cash transactions, maintain petty cash records, and ensure proper documentation of cash receipts and payments.
• Maintain purchase, sales, expense, and inventory-related accounts and verify supporting documents for all transactions.
• Prepare and maintain general ledgers, journal entries, trial balances, and other accounting statements as required.
