Priyam IT Services Pvt Ltd in Pune is seeking a reliable Part-Time Accountant to manage daily accounts and statutory compliance with minimal supervision. The role involves maintaining books in Tally, GST/ITC reconciliation, TDS filing, invoicing, and reporting.

You will coordinate with the CA and handle MIS, bank reconciliations, ledgers, and statutory documents, while ensuring accuracy and timely returns for a small but growing retail-focused IT services company.

Qualifications

• Practical GST knowledge including return filing and ITC rules.
• TDS deduction, payment and quarterly return filing.
• Hands-on experience with Tally (Prime / ERP 9) in live environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete books of accounts in Tally (Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9) including sales, purchase, payment, receipt, journal and contra entries.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) on time and reconcile input tax credit with GSTR-2A/2B.
• Generate e-invoices and e-way bills where applicable.
• Calculate and deduct TDS, deposit via challans, and file quarterly TDS returns (24Q, 26Q).
• Issue Form 16 / Form 16A and reconcile TDS with Form 26AS / TRACES.
• Perform bank reconciliation and maintain debtor and creditor ledgers.
• Track receivables and payables and share regular follow-up reports.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, trial balance, profit & loss statement, and balance sheet.
• Coordinate with the CA / auditor for audits, income tax filing, and other compliance.
• Maintain proper records of bills, vouchers, and statutory documents.

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / ICWA Inter or equivalent.
• In-depth, practical knowledge of Tally with live working experience. Training or certification alone will not be considered sufficient.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of GST: return filing, ITC rules, reconciliation, e-invoicing, and e-way bills.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of TDS: applicable sections, rates, deduction, payment, and return filing.
