Job summary

Interiors With Art Ltd seeks an experienced accountant to manage multi-currency accounts for a globally operating business. You will deliver up-to-date financial views to directors, use Xero, Zoho, and AI tools to cut routine work, and build dashboards for quick comprehension.

The role involves budgeting, cash flow, invoicing, tax compliance, and supporting UK operations. A CA/ACCA-style qualification and 3–5 years in accounting are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in accounting, ideally in project-based business.
• CA, CA Inter, ACCA or similar qualification.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Hands-on with Xero and Zoho.
• Experience using AI tools to automate bookkeeping.
• Dashboard-building experience (Power BI or similar) is a plus.
• Comfortable handling international transactions in multiple currencies.

Responsibilities

• Manage project and company accounts, including budgeting, cash flow and reporting.
• Oversee invoicing, payments and reconciliation across clients, suppliers and contractors.
• Track project budgets and profitability with project teams.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS and local statutory reporting.
• Support UK operations and liaise with external advisers.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and reports for directors.

Youll look after the accounts for a business that works in more than one country and more than one currency. The directors want a clear, up to date view of where things stand, and youll give them that. We use Xero and Zoho, and we want someone keen to use AI tools to cut down the routine work and build dashboards that are easy to read.

Weve recently opened offices in Delhi and Chennai and set up a joint venture with Sothebys International Realty India, and the team here is growing quickly. WHAT YOULL DO

• Manage project and company accounts, including budgeting, cash flow and financial reporting.

• Track project budgets and profitability with the quantity surveyor and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax and reporting requirements, including GST and TDS in India.
• Support our UK operations, working with our London team and external advisers.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and reports for the directors.
• Build dashboards that make our finances easy to read at a glance.
• Use AI tools and automation to streamline bookkeeping, reconciliation and reporting.
• Liaise with auditors, banks and advisers.

WHAT YOULL BRING

• At least 3 to 5 years in accounting, ideally in construction, design, real estate or another project-based business.
• A relevant qualification (CA, CA Inter, ACCA or similar).
• Strong Excel skills (essential).
• Hands-on experience with Xero and Zoho (Zoho Books and the wider Zoho suite).
• Experience using AI tools to automate bookkeeping, reconciliation or reporting.
• Experience building dashboards (Power BI or similar) is a plus.
• Comfortable handling international transactions and more than one currency.
