Job summary

Interiors With Art Ltd is seeking an interior designer with 3–5 years of luxury interiors experience to lead projects from concept to handover.

You will design whole homes, select finishes, prepare presentations, and manage on-site coordination with contractors, suppliers and architects to ensure the design intent is delivered on time and to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in luxury interiors, ideally high-end residential.
• Complete projects end to end, not just concepts.
• Experience running projects and coordinating on site with contractors and suppliers.
• Strong understanding of Indian supply chain and international luxury brands.
• Confident with the Adobe Suite (InDesign) and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and schemes from concept through detailed design.
• Select and specify hard finishes (stone, tile, joinery, flooring) and soft finishes (fabrics, furniture, lighting, accessories).
• Prepare mood boards, material palettes, drawings and client presentations; design custom joinery and furniture.
• Meet clients and manage expectations.
• Collaborate with architects, procurement and site teams to carry design intent to delivery.
• Visit site regularly, meet subcontractors, check work against design and review installation plans.
• Oversee procurement, visit factories and coordinate logistics and deliveries.
• Oversee installation and style the finished spaces.

Youll design whole homes and stay with them until theyre finished. Youll lead the concept, specify the stone, fabrics and lighting, design the joinery, and spend proper time on site and in factories. At the end youll style the finished rooms yourself.

Interiors With Art has been designing and building homes for 24 years. Most of our work is for discerning private clients, and over the years it has included homes for royal families in the Middle East, yachts, and hotels such as the Four Seasons. In India weve designed homes for many of the countrys leading industrial families in Mumbai and Delhi.

Weve recently opened our own offices in Delhi and Chennai and set up a joint venture with Sothebys International Realty India, so its a big moment for us here. Because we design and build, our designers see a project right through to the day the client moves in. We also build a lot of our own technology, and we think hard about how a home affects the health of the people living in it.

THE LEVEL WE WORK AT

Our projects usually range from ₹10 crore to ₹90 crore and above. Were looking for people whove worked at that level and have taken complete projects from concept through to handover. That means whole homes rather than single rooms, across renovations, refurbishments and new builds. Experience in the Middle East or abroad is a real advantage.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Develop design concepts and schemes from concept through to detailed design.
• Select and specify hard finishes (stone, tile, joinery, flooring) and soft finishes (fabrics, furniture, lighting, accessories) across the full FF&E scheme.
• Prepare mood boards, material palettes, drawings and client presentations, and design custom joinery and furniture.
• Meet clients and help manage their expectations.
• Work closely with architects, procurement and site teams to carry the design intent through to delivery.
• Visit site regularly, meet subcontractors, check work against the design, and review design programmes and installation plans.
• Get involved in procurement, including visiting factories and suppliers and coordinating logistics and deliveries.
• Oversee installation and style the finished spaces.

WHAT YOULL BRING

• At least 3 to 5 years in luxury interiors, ideally high-end residential.
• Complete projects delivered end to end, not just single rooms or concept stages.
• Experience running a project and coordinating on site with contractors and suppliers.
• A good understanding of the Indian supply chain as well as key international luxury brands.
• Confident with the Adobe suite (including InDesign) and AutoCAD.
