Jai Guruji Enterprises in Mumbai is seeking an Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day bookkeeping, supplier payments and receivables for a fashion and ecommerce business. This hands-on role reports to the Founder and supports monthly closing, cash-flow planning and cost-control initiatives.
The ideal candidate has a degree in accounting and experience with Tally and Excel, with attention to detail, reliability and a proactive approach to identify discrepancies and improve processes.
Salary: 30,000 to 35,000 per month (INR) Location: Oshiwara - Andheri West, Mumbai
Schedule: Full-time, office-based | Monday to Saturday - 10am to 6:30pm
We are looking for a smart, diligent and commercially aware Accounts Executive to join our growing fashion and ecommerce business.
This is a hands-on accounting role for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining order and helping a fast-moving business make better financial decisions.
You will work closely with the Founder and management team, taking responsibility for accurate day-to-day accounting while supporting monthly reporting, cash-flow planning, inventory costing and cost-control initiatives.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership, asks thoughtful questions and does not wait for every task to be assigned. You should be comfortable identifying discrepancies, following up on missing information and highlighting potential issues early.
You are reliable, curious and comfortable taking responsibility for your work. You understand that good accounting is not simply entering numbersit is noticing when something does not look right and taking the initiative to investigate it.
You enjoy learning, improving systems and finding more efficient ways of working. You are looking for a role where you can work closely with a Founder, understand the commercial side of a growing business and gradually take on greater ownership.
This role is designed for an early-to-mid-career accounting professional. Candidates whose experience is substantially below or above the stated level may not progress to the interview stage.
Shortlisted applicants will complete a practical accounting and Excel assessment. The assessment will focus on reconciliation, accuracy, problem-solving and the ability to identify financial discrepancies.
