Job summary

TalBalad, a leading D2C fashion brand offering premium traditional wear for ladies, invites an experienced Accounts Manager to join the team in Delhi. You will manage day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, and statutory compliance to keep books accurate and up to date.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on accounting, preferably with a D2C/e-commerce business, and proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel. GST/TDS knowledge and experience with payment gateways are strong advantages.

Qualifications

• Hands-on accounting experience with a minimum of 3 years.

• Understanding of GST and TDS.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping.

• Track accounts receivable and payable; coordinate outstanding payments.

• Support monthly book closure, audits and MIS preparation.

We are hiring for our Client Organisation which is a leading D2C brand in Premium Traditional wear for ladies.

• Position - Accounts Manager – D2C / E-commerce
• Experience: Minimum 3 years
• Employment: Full-time
• Working days- Monday to Saturday 6days
• Work timings - 10:30am- 7:30pm

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands‑on Accounts Manager with at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with a D2C, e-commerce, retail, fashion or consumer brand.

The person will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, statutory compliance coordination and ensuring that the company’s books and financial records are accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping and maintenance of financial records.
• Handle bank reconciliations and ensure timely identification and closure of discrepancies.
• Manage payment gateway reconciliations, including matching customer orders, payments received, gateway deductions, refunds and settlements.
• Reconcile receipts from Shopify, marketplaces, payment gateways, COD partners and other sales channels.
• Track accounts receivable and payable and coordinate for outstanding payments.
• Maintain vendor ledgers and undertake regular vendor reconciliations.
• Ensure proper recording of sales, purchases, expenses, credit notes, debit notes and refunds.
• Coordinate and ensure timely compliance relating to GST, TDS and other statutory requirements.
• Work closely with the company’s external CA/accounting, legal, payroll and compliance partners, providing them with required information and documentation.
• Coordinate monthly payroll inputs, deductions and accounting with the external payroll agency.
• Support monthly and annual book closure, audits and preparation of MIS.
• Maintain proper documentation of invoices, contracts, payment records and statutory filings.
• Highlight reconciliation gaps, overdue receivables, unusual expenses or financial discrepancies to management.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Prior experience with a D2C/e-commerce business is strongly preferred.
• Good working knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Understanding of GST, TDS and basic statutory compliances.
• Experience with payment gateways, Shopify and marketplace reconciliations will be a strong advantage.
• Comfortable coordinating independently with CAs, auditors, lawyers, payroll agencies and other external partners.
• Strong attention to detail, follow-through and ability to work with deadlines.

What We Are Looking For

This is a hands‑on role. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the books, follows transactions through to closure and does not leave reconciliation or compliance issues unresolved.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in the fast-moving environment of a growing D2C business and be able to provide management with accurate and timely financial information.
