Job description

Founder and Creative Head- Whistle and Hops

Maintain accurate books of accounts in a digital-first environment using Zoho Books and other modern accounting tools.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank accounts, manage banking operations.
• Independently file and reconcile GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, 2A, 2B, 9, 9C), including ITC matching, tax liabilities, and E-Way bill reconciliation.
• Handle TDS calculations, deductions, and quarterly e-TDS returns.
• Prepare and file individual income tax returns.
• Prepare daily fund positions, MIS reports, and present to management.
• Draft and monitor monthly cash flow statements for strategic decision-making.
• Finalize accounts including accounts payable, receivable, and ledger reconciliations.
• Ensure timely audit compliance (statutory and concurrent).

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Accountant with strong knowledge of Indian accounting & taxation.
• Hands-on expertise in Zoho Books (experience with other ERP/accounting software is a plus).
• Solid understanding of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and audit compliances.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel & financial reporting tools.
• Candidate from Garment export house experience will be preferred.
