Job summary

eduVelocity is seeking a finance professional to manage accounting, payments, payroll and compliance, while coordinating with external CA firms for audits and tax filings.

You will generate periodic financial reports, support budgeting, and provide financial insights to help management make informed decisions. This role requires accuracy, problem solving, and collaborative communication with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining records of accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries.
• Knowledge of statutory deductions and payroll processing.
• Familiar with regulatory compliance and year-end tax filings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations, invoices, and general ledger postings.
• Process payroll, tax deductions, and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.).
• Assist in preparing financial statements and balance sheets; coordinate with external CA firms for audits and filings; generate periodic management reports.
• Support budgeting and financial planning, providing financial insights to internal teams.

   • Ensure timely vendor payments and expense tracking.

   • Process employee payroll, tax deductions, and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.).
   • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax laws.
3. 3. Financial Reporting & Coordination
   • Assist in preparing financial statements and balance sheets.
   • Work with external CA firms for audits, tax filings, and financial reporting.
   • Generate periodic reports for management review.
4. 4. Meetings & Miscellaneous
   • Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and audits.
   • Support internal teams with financial insights and data.
