Job summary

Quess IT Solutions in Hyderabad is seeking a Payroll Analyst to support India payroll operations. The role handles employee payroll queries, reporting, statutory validations, and payroll administration, coordinating with employees and stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution.

The incumbent will maintain payroll records, support audits, and work with Shared Services on PAN-Aadhaar linkage and compliance activities. Strong Excel skills and ServiceNow experience are essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve employee payroll queries raised through ServiceNow tickets.
• Handle bonus recovery activities and follow up with terminated employees for outstanding collections.
• Prepare and maintain MIS reports such as Headcount reports, historical payroll files and trackers.
• Coordinate PAN-Aadhaar linkage verification activities with Shared Services.
• Maintain statutory payment trackers and support statutory compliance activities.
• Validate payroll-related data and ensure accuracy of employee records.
• Support payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve payroll discrepancies and employee concerns.

Must Have

• Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF formulas, data validation, reporting). Experience handling employee payroll queries and payroll operations activities. Strong analytical and data management skills. Good communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience in MIS reporting and maintaining operational trackers. Attention to detail and accuracy in payroll-related activities.

Nice To Have:

1. Knowledge of India Payroll Processing and payroll lifecycle. Working knowledge of SAP HR/Payroll.
2. Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) ticketing system.
3. Knowledge of statutory compliance such as PF, ESI, PT, TDS, PAN-Aadhaar linkage, etc. Exposure to payroll reconciliations and audit support.
4. Basic knowledge of Power Query and payroll reporting automation.
