Job summary

PSN Finance Pvt Ltd is seeking an Accountant to own day-to-day accounting, ensure books are audit-ready, and maintain NBFC-compliant records using Tally ERP in Bengaluru.

You will manage journals, ledgers, trial balances and financial statements, perform reconciliations, support GST/TDS compliance, and assist audits and MIS reporting for leadership.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years solid accounting experience, ideally within NBFC or financial services.
• Degree in Commerce/Finance or MBA required.
• Proficient in Tally ERP and standard accounting tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and end-to-end bookkeeping using Tally ERP.
• Record journals, ledgers, trial balance, and assist in preparing financial statements.
• Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations for timely closure of books.
• Support GST and TDS compliance in NBFC regulatory context.

Role & responsibilities

As our Accountant, you will own the day-to-day accounting ecosystem and ensure our books are audit-ready and compliant. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Core Accounting: Manage daily accounting operations and end-to-end bookkeeping using Tally ERP and related software.
• Financial Reporting: Record and maintain Journal entries, Ledgers, Trial Balance, and assist in preparing accurate Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Accounts, and Cash Flow statements.
• Reconciliations: Oversee meticulous bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations to ensure the timely closure of books.
• Compliance & Tax: Support statutory compliance, including GST and TDS, ensuring full alignment with NBFC-specific regulatory requirements.
• Audits & MIS: Assist with internal/external audits and collaborate on financial reporting and Management Information System (MIS) reports for leadership.

Preferred candidate profile

• Degree: B.Com, M.Com, MBA in Finance, or an equivalent degree.
• Track Record: 2-3 years of solid accounting experience, ideally within an NBFC or financial services environment.

Technical & Soft Skills:

• Software Mastery: High proficiency in Tally ERP and standard accounting tools.
• Accounting Frameworks: Deep practical knowledge of Journal entries, General Ledgers, Trial Balances, and financial statement compilation.
• Regulatory Familiarity: Comfort with NBFC accounting processes and compliance standards.
• Attributes: Sharp attention to detail, strong analytical problem-solving skills, and the communication clarity needed for management reporting. You should be equally comfortable working independently and collaborating with a team.
