Job summary

Borkar Polymers is seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage finalization of accounts, prepare financial statements, balance sheets and tax returns while ensuring GST & TDS compliance. You will oversee finance operations, coordinate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain meticulous records of all financial transactions.

The role requires a strong background in commerce with 10–14 years of experience, postgraduate qualifications, and familiarity with Indian taxation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce is required; MBA Finance preferred.
• CA certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS and Indian taxation laws.
• Experience in NBFC sector is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts finalization including financial statements and balance sheets.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure GST and TDS compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities

Manage accounts finalization, including preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and tax returns (GST & TDS). Ensure timely submission of taxes and compliance with regulatory requirements. Oversee finance and accounting operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable/receivable. Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.

Desired Candidate Profile

8-10 years of experience in finance and accounting role, preferably in an NBFC industry. Postgraduate degree () from a recognized university; Chartered Accountant certification preferred but not mandatory. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Balance Sheet finalization, Taxation laws in India.
