Job summary

White Soul Foods in Gujarat is seeking an accounts assistant to manage day-to-day bookkeeping, GST compliance, and ledger maintenance. You will coordinate with stores and purchase teams, prepare reports, and assist with monthly closings.

The ideal candidate holds a B.Com or M.Com with 1+ year of experience in accounts, preferably in food manufacturing, and is proficient in MS Excel and Tally ERP. This is an on-site role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Commerce graduates with GST knowledge and good documentation skills.
• Experience with GST, Tally/ERP, and inventory accounting preferred.
• Attention to detail and strong record-keeping abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries, including purchase, sales, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Maintain vendor and customer ledgers and perform regular reconciliations.
• Handle GST-related accounting and documentation.
• Verify purchase invoices, sales invoices, expenses, and supporting documents.
• Maintain inventory-related accounting records and coordinate with stores and purchase teams.
• Assist in bank reconciliation and other routine accounting activities.
• Prepare and maintain reports related to purchases, sales, expenses, outstanding payments, and receivables.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
• Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and customers regarding accounts-related matters.
• Assist the senior accounts team in monthly closing and other financial reporting activities.
