Job summary

Sush Essentials Pvt Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting tasks and ensure GST and TDS compliance. The role involves maintaining Tally Prime records, vendor and customer reconciliations, and accurate financial reporting.

The candidate should have a commerce background (B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter or equivalent) and experience with Tally and Excel. Prior exposure to e-commerce or marketplace accounting is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in commerce or equivalent.
• GST and TDS knowledge is required or advantageous.
• Solid understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime/ERP.
• Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries, and expenses; maintain registers.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
• Handle GST accounting and compliance, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B; manage input tax credit.
• Verify invoices, debit/credit notes, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required accounting documents and filings.

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and support GST, TDS, reconciliation, and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime/ERP
• Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries, and expense transactions. Prepare and maintain sales and purchase registers.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
• Handle GST-related accounting and compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation, and input tax cre Handle TDS accounting, deductions, payments, and reconciliation.
• Verify invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required accounting documents and workings. Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
• Support management with financial data and reports as required.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel. Basic to good understanding of GST and TDS.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent qualification preferred.

Prior experience in accounting and GST/TDS-related work will be an advantage.

Preferred Experience

Experience in e-commerce/marketplace accounting, inventory accounting, GST reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and payment settlement reconciliation would be an added advantage.
