JPC Infratech in Lucknow, India, seeks an experienced accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, close books monthly and quarterly, and prepare statutory financial statements.

The role requires strong GST, TDS knowledge, and proficiency with MS Excel, Tally Prime, SAP, or Oracle. You will coordinate with auditors and departments to ensure compliance and timely reporting.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance required or equivalent.
• CA Inter or other professional qualifications advantageous.
• Experience in accounting, taxation, GST compliance, TDS and financial finalisation preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries and ledger scrutiny.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and finalisation of accounts.
• Prepare Balance Sheets, P&L statements and other financial reports.
• Ensure GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 and annual GST filing.

Role & responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliation, and maintenance of books of accounts.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and finalisation of accounts.
• Prepare and finalise Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and other financial reports.
• Ensure GST compliance, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and annual GST return filing.
• Handle GST reconciliations, input tax credit (ITC) verification, and GST assessment proceedings.
• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, payments, quarterly TDS return filing, and reconciliation.
• Handle income tax and GST notices, assessments, departmental queries, and related documentation.
• Conduct internal audits, verify financial transactions, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation laws, and statutory requirements.
• Perform vendor and customer ledger reconciliation and monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government departments.
• Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and other management reports to support decision-making.
• Strengthen internal financial controls, accounting procedures, and compliance processes.
• Ensure timely completion of statutory filings, financial reporting, and audit requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com); CA Inter or relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Relevant experience in accounting, taxation, GST compliance, TDS, and financial finalisation.
• Strong knowledge of Balance Sheet preparation, Profit & Loss statements, and financial reporting.
• Practical experience in GST returns, GSTR-9, GST reconciliation, and GST assessment proceedings.
• Good understanding of TDS provisions, quarterly return filing, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in internal audit, ledger scrutiny, bank reconciliation, and financial controls.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally Prime, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and ensure accurate and timely statutory compliance.
• Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate with auditors, consultants, and management.
