COHIRE SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a General Ledger Lead to oversee the GL team in Mumbai, ensuring timely monthly closure, group reporting, and compliance with IND AS and IFRS. The role requires strong technical, analytical, and leadership abilities to drive process improvements and stakeholder collaboration.

The ideal candidate will manage SLAs, develop staff, and uphold internal controls while coordinating with finance and business teams to optimize efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience with financial accounting and finalization of books per IND AS and IFRS.
• Reconciliation and analysis of Balance Sheet schedules.
• Experience with statutory, group, tax and internal audits.
• Maintain hygiene of accounts and periodic reviews with Finance Team.
• Drive GL improvement projects to reduce manual effort and boost efficiency.
• Minimum 3 years of process experience; strong technical, analytical and communication skills; customer-oriented; good decision making and team management.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Oversee the overall performance of the General Ledger team and ensure all SLAs and KPIs are met in accordance to the agreement.
• JV posting, monthly closure & Group reporting done timely.
• Statutory / Tax / Internal Audit requirements are fulfilled.
• Internal Control for GL function is ensured
• Lead, motivate and develop staff in GL team
• Support and collaborate with internal stakeholders in all areas interacting with GL processes, with a view to ensuring operational efficiency

Nature of Experience

• Financial accounting, finalization of books of accounts and reporting as per IND AS for statutory books and IFRS for group reporting.
• Reconciliation and analysis of Balance Sheet Schedules.
• Statutory, Group, Tax and Internal Audits for the businesses handled.
• Maintain hygiene of accounts and conduct periodic review with Business Finance Team.
• Drive GL Improvement projects for reducing manual efforts and optimizing operational efficiencies.
• Process experience of minimum 3 years, Good Technical, Analytical and Communication skills, Customer Oriented, Decision making and Team management
