Job summary

Smartmart Recruitment Mumbai is seeking a finance professional to lead end-to-end accounting operations (AP, AR, GL) and to finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, project cost accounting for construction/engineering, GST and TDS compliance, SAP finance module implementation, cash flow management, and strategic support to leadership. Experience with regulatory filings and coordination with auditors is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end accounting operations (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger).
• Preparation & finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for projects.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
• Project cost accounting and monitoring of construction/engineering project expenses.
• Coordination with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Implementation and optimization of SAP modules for finance and controlling.
• Cash flow management and working capital monitoring.
• Support management in strategic financial planning and decision-making.
