Inchcape Shipping Services is seeking a finance professional to support the Centralised SPOR function in Guindy, Chennai. The role focuses on servicing customers through a single PIC for global remittance, including SOA preparation and FX payment processing.

You will ensure SLA/KPI targets, manage payments and postings, and communicate with agents and customers to maintain cash flow and accuracy. An opportunity to contribute to global financial operations awaits.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with agents for upload of PDA’s.
• Request prefunding from customers.
• Prepare payments to agents for PDA or FDA.
• Adhere to SLA timings for different payment types.
• Verify FDA received from LPA within Optic.
• Manage FX payments for DA OUT generation.
• Share DA OUT with customer via email or customer portal.
• Manage funds due from agents and recover accordingly.
• Dispute resolution and escalation on overdue LPA’s.
• Post transactions in Unit 4 accounting system.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Produce customer reports including SOA and recoverables.

Purpose of the Job

Centralised SPOR ("Single Point of Remittance") function within the Onecape HUB focused on servicing customers that require one PIC for financial services globally (contracted and spot calls). This is to include SOA preparation / utilizing FX platforms for payments on behalf of the customers that fall under this product.

This will include ensuring SLA’s/KPI targets are adhered to in accordance with our operational/financial strategy.

Key Accountabilities

• Managing notification of nominated calls under this product and creating jobs in our operational system


• Liaising with agents for upload of PDA’s


• Requesting prefunding from customer where applicable


• Payment preparation to agents for either PDA or FDA payment


• Adhere to SLA timings for different payment types


• Verifying FDA received from LPA within Optic


• Managing FX payments for DA OUT generation


• Sharing DA OUT with customer via agreed method i.e email, customer portal


• Management of funds due from agents and recover accordingly


• Dispute resolution


• Adhere to global bank account verification policy (LOBD)


• Transaction posting within internal accounting system (Unit 4)


• Communication externally and internally


• Escalation on vendors/LPA’s where recoverables are overdue


• Customer reporting to include SOA and recoverables on AR


• Recover hub fee from LPA/customer where applicable
