Job summary

Capstone Media in Surat, Gujarat invites applications for an accounts assistant to manage day-to-day bookkeeping and financial tasks. You will enter data into accounting software, verify cash vouchers, and support monthly and quarterly financial statements.

You will coordinate with sales teams for payments, assist GST and TDS preparation, and help plan advance tax as required. This role offers growth in a dynamic media environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and maintain entries in the Accounting software on a daily basis
• Verify the cash entry for all the expenses and generate/create cash vouchers
• Verify every week and month all the entries done
• Generate/ create account statements for the customer and verify them on a monthly/ Quarterly basis and as per their requirements
• Verify ledgers with the account statement as produced by Supplier/ Vendors on a monthly/ quarterly basis
• Perform final preparation for GST, TDS
• Coordinate with the sales team for any queries related to payment collections
• Plan for the advance tax as per the requirement
