SteamHouse India Ltd in India is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with strong Tally ERP and SAP skills to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, and assist in reporting and audits.

The role requires meticulous work, knowledge of Indian tax laws (GST and Income Tax), and proficiency in Excel; manufacturing sector experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/ICWA Inter preferred but not mandatory).
• Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience in the manufacturing sector.
• Hands-on experience in Tally ERP and SAP.
• Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards and tax laws (Income Tax and GST).
• Proficient in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally ERP and SAP FICO modules.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and local tax regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation and support for all accounting entries.

• Maintain proper documentation and support for all accounting entries
